Connecting industry, community and government

New site for game developers and researchers

The ARC Centre for Excellence for Creative Industries and Invovation’s Creative Workforce Program has launched the Games Industry Skills Project website. The site provides an opportunity for interested researchers and other stakeholders to participate in a dialogue about the current and future state of Australia’s Digital Games Industry.

The site also includes links to the Australian Games Worker Survey and Creative Business Benchmarker (employer survey).

Sandra Haukka from the Creative Workforce Program has worked with CCI’s Benchmarker team, Peter Higgs and Simon Freebody, and the Queensland Government to create a customised business support tool for Games Developers. The Benchmarker includes a new section on skills and education.

For more information about the project, contact Sandra Haukka, s.haukka@qut.edu.au, 07 3138 0154, 0424415376.
