Top of the charts: Australia’s most popular games at a glance

Ratchet & Clank debuts at the top of Australia’s top 10 games charts*

 

Ratchet & Clank has made it’s debut at number 1 in the Australian Top 10 games charts.  Ratchet & Clank pushed the popular Dark Souls III to second position, with Far Cry Primal taking out 3rd spot.

IGEA (Interactive Games & Entertainment Association), the industry association representing the computer and video game industry has released the top 10 chart of the week ending April 24 2016.

“Ratchet & Clank has made a strong debut at the summit of the top 10.  It’s great to see the latest edition in what is now a 14 year old series of games perform so well.  It is a fantastic achievement for a game only available on Playstation 4.  We continue to see a variety of different genres of games within the Top 10 game charts, which reflects that most Australians play games,” said Ron Curry, CEO of IGEA.
